Bracklesham Bay

A cold clear day at Bracklesham Bay. The beach is covered in Eocene (about 50 million year old) fossils mainly of the gastropod Turritella and the bivalve Venericor (commonly known by the old name Cardita) plus the planktonic Foraminiferans. The star finds at this site are shark's teeth - and Rachel found a fantastic tooth 45mm long!

The slide show may take a while to get going - depending on the speed of your connection.
