Wise Monkey - late January
Sophie doesn't think that she has been bad if she cannot hear that she is being told off!
Painting with Nanny Jim
Sophie and Nanny Jim making a mess with their paints in early February.
Mid February
Sophie playing on the big girl's slide! Sophie quickly got bored playing on the playground apparatus for toddlers, and wanted to play on the full size (10ft high) slide. This she happily climbed all of the way up (mummy climbed up behind, not so happily). After several goes at climbing up the steps and sliding down Sophie decided to climb back up the slide - and did too! Where did she learn to climb ...
March (above)
Sophie has become much more "interactive" now than she ever used to be. She loves to play with people, and see what reaction she can get from what she does.
April (below)
Sophie loved seeing the farm animals when we were on holiday in Shropshire, she even got to feed one of the lambs. The rocking horse at Nanny Jim's house was very popular too (in between pond dipping).
Dartmoor Pixie
Sophie on (or under?) Bonehill Rocks on the first of May.
Late May
Happiness is a cardboard box! Sophie thinks that the best thing about having to buy a new washing machine is the box that it came in. A perfect Sophie den.
Early June
Having a splashing time in the puddles whilst out for a walk with Nanny Jim and Grandad Peter
Late June
Collecting eggs carefully at Manor Farm, Botley
Holiday in July
Scorching weather in Weymouth - the water splash was very welcome at the Sea-Life Centre, and donkey riding was another of Sophie's highlights
